If you've ever wondered what Apple's leadership team would look like as flesh-colored 3D avatars, then today is your lucky day.
Apple had some fun with its corporate leadership page, where all of its top executives' headshots have been replaced with Memoji.

The company is also, of course, hyping Memoji, the iPhone X-exclusive feature launching later this year with iOS 12.
But while all of the executives are more or less recognizable, there's one top Apple figure whose Memoji likeness is just a little... off. I'm talking, of course, about Apple's top design guru Jony Ive.
Simply put, there's something more than a little unsettling about Ive's Memoji. He's the only one not smiling, for one thing, but it's more than that.

The Memoji version of Ive also has inexplicably large, vacant eyes that are are just, well, kind of creepy. Combine that with the expressionless face and Memoji's generally flat features and Apple's cartoon portrait of Ive looks like it's staring straight at us -- and not in a good way.
Was Ive just particularly wide-eyed on the day he made his Memoji? Was he engaged in some kind of staring contest? Is it a cry for help?
We may never know for sure, but someone at Apple may want to go check on Ive -- just in case.
