Apparently, there's a large market for flamethrowers with tunnel boring company branding out there. We know because Elon Musk's Boring Company has already sold 10,000 of them, less than a day after the flamethrower's been put up for sale.

And before you ask, we don't know. We don't know if Elon Musk's flamethrower is real -- it definitely looks real in Musk's recent video, but we don't know whether it's legal to buy such a thing.

We also don't know what, exactly, happens when you actually click order and pay $500 plus tax and shipping. The entire flamethrower episode is a joke taken too far, way past the point of no return and probably past the solar system as well. But hey, it's Elon Musk, and he takes his jokes seriously, so if he says he sold 10,000 flamethrowers, who are we to argue?
Even if you're not in the market for a Boring flamethrower, you should probably check out the replies on Musk's recent tweets. You'll find cool GIFs such as this one:

What's next for Boring Company, after the flamethrowers sell out? We don't dare predict and honestly, we're a little scared for humanity's survival.
