Cleaning up the mean streets of Twitter is no easy task, but Chrissy Teigen is still giving it her best shot.
Back in June, she tweeted out two ideas for ways to improve the platform: an "emotional feed" that "only lets you see happy posts" and the ability to make notes on someone's account, so you could remind yourself why you'd followed them in the first place.
And now she's back with yet another idea.

Teigen has a point. A quick glance at Twitter's trending section on any given day usually shows a list of names and hashtags with zero context -- and sometimes you need to scroll through a bunch of tweets before you actually get to the bottom of why a particular subject is trending.
Unsurprisingly, plenty of people were on board.

Soon, Teigen got a strong reminder that she almost certainly has the clout to get this kind of thing done.

So, is it feasible? Well Twitter's Moments section already sort of does this -- they have a team dedicated to pulling together news based on particular threads, or hashtags, on the platform.
But whether or not there are any plans to summarise trends is a different question. Mashable has reached out to Twitter and we will update this article when we hear back.
