One of the biggest moments (or, many moments based on its length) in the Democratic National Convention was President Barack Obama's speech, which assured America we aren't a hot mess before building toward an endorsement for Hillary Clinton.
And it ended with a hug, as the former rivals took a moment of respite during an otherwise hectic campaign season. It didn't take long before the hug found its way to r/PhotoshopBattles on Reddit.
Surprisingly, the battle didn't get too political. For once, nearly everyone who participated saw this simply for what it was: two old people sharing a nice hug.
And then they Photoshopped it, in some cases adding more old people (such as the othercandidate).
